I need so more host for kirsten about 4 people have signed up to host. and I need 10 people! she shipps on April 1 so I need to get every thing sorted out by then! I'm so excited. In fact I can't tell who's more excited, the people who get to take one of my 'family members' in andshow her around the town, or me! PM me now for more info.!!!!!!!!!

Hello. I'd like to make a suggestion or two, to help out.

April 1 is a pretty good way off right now and maybe people are not ready to sign up to host a traveling doll, when they don't know what they may or may not be doing at that time.

Instead of repeat posts inquiring about hosts several times a day, I would suggest just beginning to get to know your current hosts and make arrangements with them, begin getting Kirsten ready for her travels by picking and choosing what you wish to send with her, maybe making her a journal so that the hosts can immediately begin writing in it when she arrives.

You may find a completely different audience come closer to April 1 and might get some takers then if you post a reminder in a month or so.

Just a thought.

Maybe if I get 10 hosts sooner I can begin the whole mailing process sooner. It's not that I'm setting a far away date just so it can be far away- but these things do need time, I understand. Yet I need to have every thing planned to the exact detail in advance so if people notify me with changes it will be that much easier to fix and do what ever I need to do. Thanks for the notice, I'm getting really annoying I bet! I love to annoy people though!!! But I'll talk about that later because I don't want to be banned on this thread for spam because this is fun for me! I love chating with other people about dolls, that is, when they understand even an older person can enjoy them!!

There are a lot of travelling dolls right now. I would just be patient and wait a while - instead of re-posting. Get to know the people on the board instead. We are a GREAT bunch who LOVE dolls.

By April or May there may be lots of people interested. A travelling doll can go out with just one or two hosts and then you can add hosts later.

I think another "problem" might be that you're fairly new. I've never hosted a doll, but I know if I did, I'd want to make sure I knew the person who was sending her out as well as one can know someone they've met on an online messageboard.

You haven't even been here a month yet, so surely once you've been here longer more people will jump at the chance to host your Kirsten [img]smile.gif[/img] .
